Palm Sunday

8.00am – Said Mass 

10.00am – Parish Mass with procession of the palms


After each of the masses on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of Holy Week, the ministries of laying on of hands, of Anointing with Holy Oil and Confession are offered; If you would like to take advantage of one of these, or would like discussion with the priest, then simply remain behind after the mass ends.

Maundy Thursday

8.00pm – Mass of the Last Supper

Watch of Prayer until midnight

Please stay in church throughout, or visit for a while, to spend time with Lord; remembering the time before his arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane.  Jesus says; ‘Could you not keep watch with me for one hour.’ (Mark 14:37b)


Good Friday

11.30am – Stations of the Cross

We move around the church and recall the steps of Jesus on his way to Calvary, the place of the crucifixion, and then to the tomb in which he was laid.

1.00pm – The Liturgy of Good Friday

During this service we particularly recall the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross for the whole of creation.


Holy Saturday

8.00pm – The Easter Vigil

We begin in silence and darkness, recalling the history of salvation, and then celebrate the moment of the resurrection as we take part in this glorious service of light and life.


Easter Day

8.00am – Said Mass

10.00am – Sung Parish Mass

We hear the gospel of the empty tomb and sing Easter hymns as we celebrate the mass of Easter Day.

6.30pm – Evensong and Benediction

We finish Easter Day gathering before the blessed sacrament to worship the risen Lord and be blessed by him.
